It was a Health Fair in CUNY 
今日はCUNYのヘルスフェアーのご紹介です。
 
The Site was E-Building Atrium in CUNY.　 
会場は E-校舎 中央広間。 　
　
　
The exhibit contents were   (展示内容は)

        　Physical & Occupational Health

High Blood Presser display　（高血圧コーナー）

Several students had you do sphygmomanometry.

Diabetes display 　（糖尿病コーナー）

Many young people seem to suffer from diabetes mellitus in the United States now.
It is overeating of the Jack hood!
今、米国では多くの若い方が糖尿病で苦しんでいるようです。
ジャンクフードのたべ過ぎですよね！

日本一長寿の沖縄県では食習慣の欧米化で若い方(30代)の寿命が短く成っている?

Their English exposition was difficult, and I was not able to understand it.
喘息について丁寧に説明されていました。
日本語でも難しいのに英語の説明では全く歯が立ちません。

BET BUGS are the problem in the United States.
米国ではベット虫が問題になっています。
発生した場合、簡単には除去できず十数万円払って業者に除去して貰います。

There was exhibit of the mammary cancer distinction.

According to an active nurse of CUNY, as for the scholastic attainments level of the nurse of CUNY, GPA seems to be 3.8.
She said that starting salary of the nurse in NYC is $ 70,000 / year.

CUNYを卒業された看護師の方とお話する機会がありました。
看護師を目指すには大学入学時にGrade Point Average が2.5 以上必要だそうです。
しかし、CUNYの看護師の学力レベルはGPA が 3.8 だと自慢していました。　
GPAの上限値は4.00です。
　
驚き、NYCでの看護師さんの初任給は＄70,000／年（約650万円）だそうです。
現給料を伺ったのですが“満足な額です”との回答で正確な給与は秘密だそうです。
高給が約束されているから“きつい授業にも耐えられた”と仰しゃってました。
CUNYで勉強中の日本人看護師さんは「日本ではそんなに頂けない」との事でした。
